Pole Lathe Turned Beech Bowl with Copper Mend
£50.00
Sold out
A beautifully spalted piece of beech wood, turned on the pole lathe into a lovely serving bowl.
The bowl developed some splits during drying but, because the piece of wood was so nice, I decided to save it with some copper sewing.
Because of the splits and the bark inclusions, this is not suitable for liquids but would make a fantastic centrepiece or fruit bowl.
9.5" diameter
Beech and copper wire finished with tung oil
