Locking lidded box turned on pole lathe with a hand carved handle. These boxes are based on beautiful old Swedish boxes with decoration inspired by the norse imagery of Fenrir and Jormungundr. They are quite technical bits of turning, requiring a lot of precision. There are only a handful of turners in the world who have the skill to turn these mechanisms.
